History Spokane
Spokane is on the leading edge of transforming women’s professional sports in America. As a member of the new United Soccer League (USL) Super League, Spokane Zephyr FC is part of dramatically expanding opportunities for women’s soccer players, coaches, administrators, and staff.
Together with our USL W League team and future youth academies, we will create a pathway in our community and country for young women to pursue careers in professional soccer. Our club is committed to this region – growing diversity and inclusion, bolstering our economy, and delivering a world-class professional soccer experience to our fans.
TWO TEAMS
The club includes the USL Super League team, Spokane Zephyr FC, which will kick off its inaugural season in August 2024, competing at the Division I level within the US Soccer Federation.
Additionally, the club has plans for a future USL W League team, part of the leading pre-professional women’s soccer league in the United States, showcasing outstanding collegiate athletes aspiring to professional soccer careers.
